"unexpected file format" SOLUTION!

when your game says "unexpected file format" do the following steps
step 1: check or the file (the game.rxproj) is at least 1 byte (or 1kb) or more, if it is go to step to, if not i cant help you
step 2:go to my documents, sort on name and choose for details (under list) when most of the files above rpgxp, when they are 0 KB if so go to step 3, if not i cant help you
step 3:update your viruscanner, than scan the COMPLETE computer, it may take hours but it is a virus who destroys all your files, destroyed files are 0 KB!
