HELP!!!

I have a really important question. Me and my Dad have separate computers. His has high-speed internet while mine does not . I want to know: Can you transfer RPG Maker VX after I download it to my Dad's computer, and then transfer it via flash drive to mine; and it'll work? I know I tried that with the trial version, but it said that it "Can't receive serial number from nTitles server."  :oPlease help me out here!

You need internet to get the serial number. (*cough*Get a keygen*cough*)
