Yep. Most of you probably dunno me.
Did I say "most"? I meant ALL. At least it's more capable.
This game is not my first... I was making games on another site, before, but I didn't succeed as much on them.

Ok, let's get to the game.

Basic Plot
Spoiler for:
This game's genre is fantasy. It involves races like Humans(logically), Demons, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Goblins(yep, here, the Orcs and Goblins are different races), Cerberi(three-headed dogs), and an unique race called the Rhiidan. Race and nation descriptions later on.
Long ago, a great war came on the distant Stormlands. It was basically a mere conflict of opinion between Dwarven miners and Rhiidan people, who should dominate the ancient Mountain that stood on the border of a Human kingdom called Aedhrilan. The Mountain was by then separated, the Dwarves working underground in the deep City of Mining and the Rhiidan living on the Mountain's sides, in wonderful cities.
War broke out, when the Humans had enough and invaded the Mountain, seeking to stop the madness, but they got involved too much... the Dwarves secretly allied with the Aedhrilanians to stop the Rhiidan, who decided to conquer even the Aedhrilan lands using their invasion as a pretext.
However, the Rhiidan were defeated... at a large cost. The Dwarves abandoned the City, while the Rhiidan still lived. Soon, the world was shaked. Literally. Everything went dark, the sun disappeared, and in the far west the Aedhrilan people saw flames erupting. There, came the Gate of the Underworld, a volcano that emerged not with lava, but with Demons. Thousands of Demons. An infuriated Rhiidan lost his life with a deadly spell that unleashed them. The Demons charged, and almost took over Aedhrilan... then came a decisive strike, the Rhiidan came to assist. A sudden reinforcement. Completely unexpected after the war. The Elves and Dwarves also came to assist. They created a crystal, which sealed the armies of the Underworld behind the Gate, opened only from the surface...

However, the Demons would come again, with the power of a necromancer who summoned the head demon... and when all that happens, can anyone stop them?

The Title Screen... I'm using Trebuchet MS as the font.

Here, the necromancer Khragh is trying to summon a Demon.

The protagonist Dlar'hen is going hunting into the most dangerous place possible. Look, see that minimap?

AAAH! Orcs! Undead! DEMONS!

Battle of Aedhr: Aedhrilanians Lose. Aedhrilanian Casualties: A battalion of guards, a king's dog and a king dead.

Characters
Spoiler for:

Dlar'hen Dragonflame
The prince of a kingdom called Aedhrilan, his father, mother, younger brother and cousin(rightful heir to the throne before death) all died in a war between humans and orcs when he was five years old. He's seventeen years old, what's in Medieval counting one year into being a man. His uncle is the king until Aedhrilan falls to Demons and Orcs in this game. Then, he gains the sword of his ancestors, the Dragon Sword, which can manipulate fire. Dlar'hen is rather impulsive, and he'll do anything to regain the throne that he lost.
Dlar'hen became interested in war and swordsmanship at the age of seven, so Kaeth II instructed Khotrus to train Dlar'hen in swordsmanship. Khotrus took his task seriously and soon became like an uncle to Dlar'hen, while Kaeth was too busy to teach Dlar'hen. However, this teacher was merciless and forced Dlar'hen to go through a lot, thus Dlar'hen became a strong young man.

Khragh
A dark and powerful necromancer, who summoned a demon that two weeks later opened the Gate. He wants to control the world, and he has 183 years of age. How is that possible, you ask? He prolonged his life by sacrificing summoned Demons to add 50 more years to his life. He is adept in dark magic.

Kaeth II of Aedhrilan
The king of Aedhrilan, Dlar'hen's uncle. Until he died, he carried the legendary Dragon Sword. He died the age of 36, and whoever killed him, subdued a battalion of guards. Just a little note to show how horrible the Demons are.

Intharghar
A mysterious Rhiidan, nothing is known of this being's past. He carries no relics of his past life, and doesn't speak much. Neither does he get annoyed or insulted. The truth of Intharghar's past is that he is an exiled criminal who killed off two Rhiidani in an accident when a god of ice that somehow infected Intharghar's body and transferred himself into the unfortunate Rhiidan unleashed his powers. Intharghar would then be taught in the ways of the mage by a wandering warlock from the Wizards' Enclave, a Human. Intharghar is, because of his absence, unaware of the sudden demise of his people(read "Urda'aani-Tokna").

Arsakor, Seghali, and Khotrus
Dlar'hen's escort team to the nearby kingdom of Laeth'saen'haey after Aedhrilan was taken over. Arsakor was the captain of the Royal Guard, Seghali - a village Shaman and Khotrus - a Swordmaster of the Aedhrilanian army.

Arath'gon
The Elven Prince of Dal-Rythar, a fact marked by his Elfking's Bow, a relic that was, if Dal-Rythar was ruled by a queen at the time, given to the heir. Arath'gon is a great strategist, and never gets into an argument before really thinking over the matter. He is the brother of Nesira, but the virtues they listen to are completely different. He looks at the world with the ideal that "There are dark deeds that cannot be redeemed" and puts his decisions before his duty often. In fact, he is the ruler of his decisions and doesn't allow anything influence them except himself.
Arath'gon was born eighty years ago, being the elder twin of Nesira. As he grew, he had shown great strength - but secretly, became part of a secret conspiracy against his aunt, the Queen, who he saw as a tyrant and usurper, coinciding with his sister Nesira's opinion. He still is commanding a large force of rebels able to strike any day, but no one uncovered it.

Nesira
The Elven Princess, she is a great mage, in the Elven prince and princess tradition - princes are trained to be longbowmen, while princesses become mages. She is skilled in all types of magic. Nesira believes deeply in her ideals which almost always revolve around duty, but she looks at the evil of the world with pity, not disgust like Arath'gon. Her weak side is that she allows people to bend her decisions almost to the limit of not being a tool. Arath'gon had several times when he saved her from being one.

Rayenna
A nymph, a quite young one. She is Arath'gon's wife, although not much people know about it. Rayenna and Arath'gon met long ago in a Dal-Rythar forest and fell in love with each other, but later they were separated as the nymphs exiled her after they found out about this. Among other things, she also is pregnant with Arath'gon's child.

The other character pics will come soon! Right now, I've got only Dlar'hen and Intharghar made!

Races and Nations
Spoiler for:
Aedhrilan
A pleasant, green land. Although many forests have been cut down for wood, the cities and fortresses are a major attraction. Aedhrilan has the second-largest military of all human kingdoms. Aedhr, the capital, sits at the western coast of the River Mythar not far from the Mountain. In the south, lie the mountains known as the Dragon Stalactites, although it's unclear why they're called that way. In the north, immediately behind the Mountain, lies a line of mountains behind which is the nearly-abandoned land of Dyran, which was once inhabited by Rhiidan.
Aedhrilan was established in the year 116 of the Reconstruction Age, a time when the weary Stormlands were reconstructing from scratch after the fall of the Three Lands - Urdelia, Tyregiath and Warladar, which had three races - Urdeli, Tyregi and Warladi controlling each, respectively. They eventually split into other races - Tyregi to the Elves, Humans and Rhiidani, Warladi - to Dwarves, Goblins and Orcs, and Urdeli went extinct. The Humans built Aedhr, a city where they finally found something like peace. The rest of the Humans went east to the start of Mythar and built a city called Etra. Aedhr and Etra had an alliance, so soon Aedhr's rulers dominated all to the Deserts of Madharim-Gar and controlled a kingdom called Aedhrilan. The Etra rulers conquered all until the Irmgardian Mountains, thus making them the rulers of modern Laeth'saen'haey and Dal-Derim - a large kingdom called Etralia. The alliance prospered until 1639 RA, when Etralia declared war upon Aedhrilan due to Aedhrilan allying with the Etralian rival, Irmgard. However, Etralia overestimated their military strength and Aedhrilan crushed them, razing their capital Etra. A new kingdom, centered around Laeth, a large city next to the dangerous Acid Swamps, emerged and rebuilt Etra with a new name - Saen'haey, Riverstart. However, Aedhrilan was not threatened anymore from the east.

Urda'aani-Tokna("Kingdom of the Mountain")
Several Rhiidan cities formerly existed on the southern and eastern slopes of the Mountain. The Rhiidanoh Urda'aan was generally just a title used to refer to a Rhiidan who formally was the ruler of this Kingdom, but he himself had little control over the fledgling cities - Rellanor, Ermial, Kathra, Qia'eld and Vernak. The five cities controlled small fields of power that their Tronquo(a sort of mayors) dominated. All of the Tronquo formed a Erylan(something like a parliament) that generally dominated the Urda'aans' opinions ever since the Battle of Ermial in RA, when the Urda'aans' family was forced out of domination in Ermial. Back then, the Urda'aans had absolute control over the Kingdom and, due to the lack of strict organization, could easily presume their control over the Mountain as there were villages and towns, not only the five cities. After a powerful family called the Raiza family took Ermial in the battle mentioned earlier, the Urda'aan title was no longer passed on through heirs as it was before, it was given through elections, but generally, even with them, there was a strict control by the Tronquo order, and the Urda'aans were just puppets. The Raiza family's victory was decisive because Ermial before the victory was the capital and was ruled by the family that were Urda'aans. The control of the city passed on to the Raiza family, and even though the following elected Urda'aans' residences all were in Ermial, the Raiza taxed the inhabitants dangerously. The following years, all small villages and towns were razed and the people moved to the five main cities.
After wars with Orcs, the Rhiidani were exhausted and defenseless when a sudden invasion from the north came. Suddenly, Orcs landed in Dyran, crossed the mountains and destroyed the Rhiidani cities. A few of the survivors, like Intharghar(who survived since he was exiled for an accidental killing) became hermits and wandered the Mountain, searching for food and water in the snow of the Frozenlands, while most escaped into various directions, the main destination unknown.
Rhiidani are differenciated from Humans by red eyes and, when the Rhiidan reaches a certain age(different for each Rhiidan) long ears, but not like Elves' long ears, these long ears go straight up like a rabbit's.

Laeth'saen'haey
The largest known kingdom in the Stormlands, Laeth'saen'jaey is mostly like Aedhrilan, but in several certain places it has large swamps, the largest and most dangerous in all of the Stormlands. Laeth, the capital, itself is built surrounded by the River Mythar and an acid swamp. That's right, ACID.
South of Laeth'saen'haey lies the Deserts of Madharim-Gar, and west - Aedhrilan. Southeast there's the arid kingdom of Dal-Derim, east - behind mountains, that is - the cold and snowy kingdom of Irmgard, northeast - also behind mountains - Dal-Rythar, the Elven kingdom.

Dal-Derim
The Elvish-esque name gives off suspicious thoughts. Indeed, the founder of Nendar(the Dal-Derimian capital) and Dal-Derim(which was itself built after Etralia was destroyed), was a half-Elf. "Nendar" itself comes from mixing Aedhrilanian and Irmgardian languages, "dar" coming from Aedhrilanian and meaning "strong", while "nen" in Irmgardian meant "dragon". Dal-Derim is an arid land, due to it's southern position. Orcs do not dare attack this kingdom because of two reasons - the climate makes a really bad situation for crops to grow and not much is dug out in mines, and as well the large military guarantees that if they would get some loot, it wouldn't be taken away from the land. However, Dal-Derim has great roads. The water is mostly brought from the river in the east that marks the border - River Ghilus. Beyond there, lies the inhospitable and unable-to-survive in Unknown, cutting the Stormlands off from the rest of the world. The Unknown, as some people who managed surviving a day in there, described, at it's core was constantly harassed by sandstorms and at night - by constant lightningstorms. In Dal-Derim, east of Nendar, lies the Wizards' Enclave, where Khragh had a high position before turning evil. The western border of Dal-Derim is where the savannah ends and the Deserts of Madharim-Gar begin, the land of the Orcs. Of all the Human kingdoms, Dal-Derim has the best relations to the Elves.

Irmgard
A snowy Human kingdom, turned this way because of a curse. While Aedhrilanian is the dominant language in most Human kingdoms(Laeth'saen'haey adopted the Aedhrilan language and fixed it, implanting several words from the dead Etralian language and making it more similar to Etralian, and Dal-Derim did the same, except they made it more similar to Elven), Irmgard adopted Etralian and made it more similar to Dwarven, replacing their old and lost language. Irmgardians believe in one thing - glory. Even their gods fight amongst eachother - their myths say that the gods are in two military camps, and warring against eachother. Irmgard has a record, although - it never had argued with Dwarves on diplomatic matters, as the nearby Dwarven mountain kingdom of Kar-Adhedhar had sold weapons and armor of mithril to Irmgardians, who themselves exported them to the rest of the Stormlands.

Naz-Wazer
The only REAL nation ruled by Orcs, the northern border of it being the Dragon Stalactites, western - the beginning of a pennisula called the "Claw", and southern - well, the Deserts of Madharim-Gar. Long ago, it was only an ethnical region, not a nation, but even then it was inhabited by Orcs. Villages waged war on each other as often as a thunderstorm came in the Unknown. Among this destruction, the Aedhrilanians came from the north and conquered the villages with little resistance. However, 100 years later the Orcs used the best they learned from humans - how to lead a kingdom. They rebelled in full force, threw out the Aedhrilan governors(who themselves were executed), and elected the Orkath Yghka(what means "Ultimate Orc") who began leading the nation. Naz-Wazer prospered, only to raise Aedhrilanian anger. The eighth Ultimate Orc allied with Khragh and the Demons to take over the world.

Orklazgandar
Not actually a nation, it's the homeland of the Orcs and nothing more. Located south of Naz-Wazer, in the Deserts of Madharim-Gar, in their north, more specifically, it is generally a huge valley with several villages. They don't have the chaos they had in Naz-Wazer, since here, Orcs simply take on desert people, as suspectedly happened with the southern Human city of Yhmarn. The valley of Orklazgandar also is the home of the Goblins, although the Goblins are slowly being annihilated by sudden Minotaur raids. The Minotaurs' homeland's location is unknown, and the Orcs are also dying from these raids, although less - Orcs are bigger than Goblins and they can resist more. Long ago, running from the Minotaurs were the reason Orcs and Goblins came at all to the Stormlands, after a hard run through the Unknown, which nobody knows how they passed.

Dal-Rythar
The Kingdom of the Elves. Lying behind mountains and sea, it's generally a huge forest except for the sea's beaches. The Elves live in the forest-cities, including the capital, Denomgar. The Elves live in touch with nature, the society eating mostly the meat hunters bring and berries the gatherers bring, as there are no farms in the dense forest.

Kar-Adhedhar
The Kingdom Inside The Mountains, the land of the Dwarves. Lying north of Irmgard and southeast of Dal-Rythar, in the east being the Unknown, in the north and northwest of Kar-Adhedhar is the sea. The capital is Kar-Midar, a huge city underground. Kar-Adhedar's Dwarves export weapons to Irmgard, where they are exported once more with half the cost going to the Dwarves. This trade agreement guaranteed that no wars should break out between the two kingdoms.

Necromancers' Council
Not a nation, but a really important place for a certain faction. A skyscraper-high tower, highly protected, lies in the Deserts of Madharim-Gar, east of the ruins of Yhmarn and the sea. Here, Khragh controls a secret order of necromancers that is practicing demon summonning... at least was, until they ALL were summoned.

Northern Snowlands
Not a nation either. They begin at the River Ghilus's mouth, and stretch east nobody knows how far. They are the opposite of the Unknown - very cold, snowy, always is snowing, at day is condemned to constant snowstorms and at night the region's ice and snow melts, making a huge flood, but before the snow can completely melt off(what would probably stop the winter and get spring to come) the day comes and a snowstorm once more begins.

You seemed to have a lot of information for a good story. I am sure it will materialize into something nice. A game fueled by nations at war are usually quite nice and intriguing.
A problem though, is that your maps/screens seems very naked, but I have seen much much worse. As for your title screen, the New Game, Continue, Exit box is covering some of your title. You sort of want your title to be seen in my opinion . Lastly, your first screen shot has a nice looking cliff with a not so pretty panorama. Towards the top right corner it looks like  someone spray painted the sky with oil.

Waiting for a demo

Yeah, in the "Looking off a cliff" screenshot the panorama got messed up, not as I expected it to be. And the game is still in beta-version, even though it's not yet released as a demo. I'll be redecorating Khragh's lair and the city panorama, as well as several other maps.

It sounds like you've spent a lot of time visualizing the world and plot, but as was said, your maps are pretty bare. Anyway, I wish you luck.

Thanks.
Well, what was the basis for this game's plot was generally a roleplay I had with a friend, except I relieved this game of a tragic story how the protagonist dies and gets revived, getting stuck for several days in a cave, jumping from one part of the world to another with portals and back. I added some characters to make it not as much absurd, like Arsakor, Seghali and Khotrus. I also replaced some characters with others, due to my need of fixing plotholes...
But yeah, the plot has been sort of difficult. While the world hasn't been as much. I've got a map drawn of the whole world, if I want to make something easier or harder I just redraw that area and move a certain thing shown on it where I need it to go.

As said before, it sounds like a lot of thought has gone into the ideas and story, and such, but the mapping could be improved Too many open spaces and such. Anyway, it looks promising and I can't wait for it to be finished/a demo to be released. Good luck :)

Well, I improved the mapping, only I haven't added screenshots and for a while, I won't be able to due to me being away from home and using another computer.
