Controls are all screwy

I am just wondering why my controls are messed up. When trying to test the game to see how it worked, the character constantly moved up without any input, and when I pressed the down key he moved to the left until I let go. (Where he started going up again) Please don't tell me he has Jenova cells in him. >-0' xP All the other input keys don't do anything, I tried.
