Ok guys and gals, Why are scripts so crap, i have used tow now and neither of them have worked. Is there an simple way tp ake a save point without a script and a simple way to make a party changer without a script...or is there a way to actually get the scipts to work?

a save point script is useless.
Use events for that.

As far as a party switcher, tell me which one you're using.
You probably didn't configure it right.

just because you dont understand something theres no need to demean it to make yourself sound better. Using rpgmakers event system you should begin to develop an understanding of how scripts look and feel. This is by the text displayed in the event dialog. it also shows you how to set varibles which are used inscripts for configuration options.

the scripts on this site that are in the database mostly all work. if they did not they would stay outside the database.

Scripts are like a large common events, with RGSS. This means, if you manage to make a huge, time consuming event long enough to do what a 3,000 line script can do, your game will crash due to lag. And odds are, it won't even work as good as the script.

seriously, read what you wrote, after you wrote it, before you post it.

but yeah, just use events. if you get creative (sometimes you dont even need to get creative... like now for instance) you can do many things without needing to use scripts. scripts are for advanced users. get some more practice in THEN try to use scripts.
