REPLY: Yet another strange problem with rpg2003

I wanted to revive this topic because, it's been a few and it still hasnt been resolved. ><

Ok so far I found out the following,

1. The same song and event layout works on other maps.
2. Same event works on every other map.
3. No matter how much i tweak it/make new event, it will still not change the battle theme.
4. No matter what song, how many events i make, how many times I change the event. The song will not change.

Thats what I have noticed so far about it. Has anyone had the same problem? Anyoen know whats going on?

Check that parallel events or something aren't defaulting the battle music. (Unlikely, but if it works on another map, maybe...) And you are using the Change System BGM -> Battle BG Music, right? If the event is functional on another map, there shouldn't be anything wrong with it... Maybe jut make a new map and ignore the problem?

I'l try the new map option really quick.

Edit: If i delete this map it deletes a whole bunch of other maps with it. Is there a way to just delete this map and not the others?

Can't you just move the submaps of the map you wish to delete, make the new map, and then move the submaps back to their original location?
