Love Story
Working Title
Introduction
This project is basically my experiment with VX, but it is also because of this...
Think of any RPG where the main hero meets a mysterious girl. What happens? They fall in love, blah, blah, blah... Well, my goal with this game is to make a game unlike that. It should be fun the play and fun to make.
Story
Leon is a simple swordsman who will take any job as long as it pays enough. One day, while on a mission in the forest, he comes across a strange girl. After confronting her with his trademark "Who the hell are you?" statement, he learns that she is a girl named Lyla. However, she doesn't remember much and asks Leon for his help. Leon agrees, as long as she has enough cash. Lyla searches frantically, but finds no money. Leon starts to leave her when something stops him. A large rock to the back of his head to be exact. After a short argument, Leon agrees to let her pay after he helps her back to town. Unbeknown to Leon, he is now traveling with a very important person...
Characters
Name: Leon Frandivich
Class: Mercenary
Age: 23
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 157 lbs.
Bio: Leon was born into a rich family, but always hated them. He ran away at the age of 12 and was taken in by a traveling mercenary troop. He eventually began to dislike them as well, so he left them at age 18. He is greedy, hateful, untrusting, disliked by others, and just downright mean. He has never met a person he didn't hate, so he decided to be a solitary mercenary. In battle, he is more than capable, but other than that, he's about the same.
Name: Lyla
Class: Mercenary's Apprentice
Age: 22
Height: 5'6"
Weight: Like hell if she'll tell you.
Bio: She only remembers her name, so little is known about her past. She's generous, loving, trusting, well-liked, and just plain nice. In other words, the exact opposite of Leon. (Opposites attract? We'll see.) Although, sometimes she can be a lot like Leon. It is rare, though. In battle, she has some skill with swords, but still has a lot to learn.

Well, that's all. What do you think? Oh, and a quick question for anyone who cares... Should I stick with my gigantic collection of MIDI music or use my gigantic collection of MP3s?
[Final Note: When I get to college and better internet, I will share my gigantic collections of music.]
