Enterbrain finally released the official English version of RPG Maker VX. They announced a February 2008 release, and they released it on the last day of February. This day only comes once every four years. :O! So stop making threads about when VX is going to be released.

I did the whole thing with generating the acitvation URL with VX, and then put it on the keygen, then put the Activation Code in VX... still didn't work :O Oh well, I'll keep trying. To put it simply...no. I don't know how to use it lol

If you would like I can upload it to rapidshire and Megaupload so you guys can get it and bypass the trial.
Though I'm doing this for those who wants it, I"m not doing this to be doing it.
I have it and it works 100% so ask.

I can really only see one problem with this; lack of the ability to use some custom resources.

Other than that I would much rather have this organized, built in English, stronger and more capable RPG Maker instead of a rickety error full piece of shit like XP.

I hate how it looks sort of... "cutesy" even if you can add your own resources. I relied a lot on the custom RTP's most of the time, so it's hard for me to find new resources u.u Other than that, it's quite a good RPGM.

The ONLY thing that attracted me to XP was the scripting system, beyond that it was really sad. Now that RGSS2 is out in VX and it's more solid (plus with ALL the other features re-added from those of before XP, now in VX) I am 100% a fan of VX.

Its a trial version till you get the activation code and serial number to make it full program.  The reason why they want you to have 60.00 for is to pay for the activation code and the serial number for the program.

VX limits the amount of resources you have. XP is better.

Ok, when i first looked at VX I was more impressed with the graphics, but that doesn't matter, cus I can just make my own, or bring them from VX - XP. So I'll stick with XP, and thank you.

I know this is out of the subject, but have you guys ever played a Legend of Zelda type game play made from RPG Maker VX or XP.

Yeah, but it'd require a good eventer or use of an ABS script. Blizz-ABS at chaosproject is a good battle system, as is XAS ABS. Mr Mo's ABS is also good, but is, in my opinion, categorically worse than XAS or Blizz-ABS simply because it hasn't been updated for a year or two, as far as I know.
