After working through a few issues including color depth, i finally got a sprite sheet of Leo from FFVI (for battle) imported into RPG Maker 2K3. The trouble is, the battle animation select isn't like the character animation select.
I.E., its a drop down menu whereas the character select is a whole new window. The battle animation select isn't showing my Leo sprites, and i tried to mimic the battle animation sheets pre-built into 2K3 as much as possible. I broke a couple rules though, but would that keep me from being able to select it?
Heres pictures of the 2 sheets i have.

http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/313/leobattle2uo6.pngThe differences here compared to the ones that come with the program are:
1: For the "dazed" animation, FFVI uses 4 sprites for that one usually, and i couldn't really think of a way to make it less awkward without all 4, so i tried shrinking them down and squeezing them in
2: I couldn't end up fitting all 8 rows of sprites into the first one, so i carried one row onto the second (the walking back animation). On the premade ones, the second sheet only has 3 animations, whereas mine has 4
3: Some rows are copies of others.
Sorry if this question has been answered already in a different way, but it wasn't in the FAQ and i searched alot of the troubleshooting forum already.
