I've been a lurker around here a while and I've finally gotten round to registering!
So, hi.
Right, let's see... I've been dabbling in the amature video game making scene for a few years, starting with text adventures (good place to start, if you ask me, you'll be forced to learn varibles very quickly lol) and it's brought me to rpgmaker.
And after looming over everyone's figurative shoulders here, I'll say this place is well helpful and friendly!
So anyway, about me. I'm Sledrave (or whatever you want to call me) and I've always liked rpgs since Final Fantasy 7 (hey, this is the uk we're talking about, all we got on the snes was... umm... terranigma?) with the Golden Sun series as my reigning favourite. Drawing is a passion of mine and I find sprites damn beautiful, so expect any games from me to have custom stuff
. I love writing, too, with fantasy, steampunk and post-apocalytic stuff my favourite. Well, that's pretty much all my hobbies, except I'm also an anime fan (you'll see it show through my art, but I try to keep a unique style, all the same) and avid manga collecter(over 170 books and counting!).
And I'm probably one of the few people who like the english language.
btw, I use rpg maker 2003 (I'd use xp, but my laptop, and only computer, is too slow to run it) and I'm in the veeeeery early stages of making a post-apocalyptic set game tentatively titled "Oh my, Gradion!".
I'm pretty introvert, but I'll try to post.
