It's awesome. I've never seen so much gratuitous violence and swearing in my entire life, and it's for the freaking WII.



I mean, this is the beginning of the first level.

Travis is riding his mammoth of a motorcycle towards this gate, and he crashes through it violently. The bike spins out of control, smashing into a fountain, as a giant stream of water rises up from the ground. Travis falls down from above, landing behind two guards who SUDDENLY DONT HAVE HEADS ATTACHED TO THEIR BODIES ANYMORE (blood spewing everywhere) and Travis says his first line in the entire game:

"FUCKHEADS!"


Oh my God, it's awesome. It's hack and slash, but there's definitely some skill involved, so if you want challenging, it's challenging, but if you just want carnage and mayhem, it's got that, too.

The story seems pretty awesome, and character development seems also pretty awesome. There are some very funny moments in this game.



So yeah, play this game if you're over 18 but for some reason own a Wii.

Gonna have to get that.

Im going to have to give it a shot once I get my wii back.

First...I need a Wii.

K, so I beat it.

Took 14 hours, on easy, which is kinda short.
But that was on easy mode.
But I powered my character the fuck up.

Sadly, the story tapered off a little towards the end, and so did the action, kinda. I mean, it was still really fun and sweet all the way to the end, but I think they could have worked on the story a little more.

The last battle was pretty intense.

So yeah, I'd say it's a 9/10 or maybe a 8.5/10. Solid game, great action, good voice acting, highly entertaining, but some complaints about story and shit like that.
The character development is pretty cool, though, and the characters themselves and incredibly deep, even the ones that you only encounter for a quick ranking fight. In that 10 or 15 minutes, you can really see character. No 2 dimensional characters, here!



At least it's not incredibly cheesey and lame like Devil May Cry 4.

The game looked amazing, I'd really like to rent this or something.

I just got this game, and 3rd boss in I have to say this game is utterly amazing.
Not only is this the bloodiest game ever, but the character development is just =o
Also the random phone calls from the local movie rental shop asking for their porn back makes this game the best on the wii.
Until March 9th that is.

Edit: Also I'm better than Arlen because Im playing on Mild (normal)
Edit2: Just beat it, and the ending is really weird

Did you beat Henry?

Jeanne and Henry are both really easy on easy if you figure out that charging your upper attack and waiting for the opening and then following up with the crazy combos lets you deal massive amounts of damage.

I actually beat Jeanne the second time around without taking a hit.

It took me over 500 hits on regular for Henry.
Jeanne is not hard, shes basically the melee form of Destroyman.

I didn't have that much fun with it. It was really exciting at first, but it got old fast. I did enjoy the visual style of the game, though, and the coconut game ;-;
