Crankeyes Quest!

Okay, a little side project of mine, called Crankeyes quest.

Story
====

Crankeye decides to go on the internet one fine day, to find his forum has been hacked! He quickly decides to look for the source of this problem, and is astounded that his password has been changed! As he tries to escape, the King of Spam, locks him away in a dungeon, and using his new admin powers, turns the forum into a fantasy world under his command.

The evil one has also captured the moderators! Only one moderator has evaded capture, Pegasus ! He must rescue the other moderators and save Crankeye before its too late!

Ill also post this in the first post, but this is how the games gonna work. Itll be like Midgar in FF7, the game is based in a city, which is split into sectors (General Chat, RPG Discussion etc) and then each sector will have smaller parts like the subboards - Troubleshooting etc...

When you have restored order to each sector, you go for the tower, which is the admin control panel!

lol, Dwarra put me in crankeye's party. If your using XP then i wanna be the guy with the lancer and the metal plate on his head. His name is originally basil or something. But Change his name to Blaze ... then me crank and some other guys could all fight as one PLEASE!

Blaze, chances are (100%), he won't use the RTP that it came with.

Oh then in that case ... i guess i'll leave you with the sounds unless you want zelda music in your game. I have lots of zelda music from Ocarina of time and majoras mask, so if anyone wants any let me know. I have songs like "Lon Lon Ranch" "Song of storms" "deku place" and more ...

hmm ok, i want to be on the bad guys side

Hmm, I'm sure he has another plan for final boss lol. You may fall into second-last boss category. Dwarra dont want me to say who last boss is lol.

Not big headed at all. After all, it is your project. And you're really good at it. And what I meant was, there are other things you'll be needing before you need the music. It seems better to get other things going before the music, so we can get a feel for the game.

Lost Person:
Well, this sidequest is to find a lost person. In a maze. Actually, a big maze...Ok, i

actually d"d "sidequests" are quests that you don't have to complete in order to beat the game, stealing money doesn't sound like a must for me

here is my sidequest idea:

as you reach some city you suddenly find yourself in the middle of a river of blood, following it outside the city the blood slowly become less seenable and at a point it begins to be simply just drops, wandering around the forest outside of town following the bloody clues you spot one of the town's guards, you then notice he got some blood covering him.
he tells you he is chasing a sick murderer, though the blood ends at that spot, you can't do much so you are forced to return with the guard to town.
back in town you will now talk to people who saw what happened, and you will also find clues around the fresh grave of a body discovered outside of town.
the clues will slowly tell you the location of an old well located around the forest.
you get inside it and you discover bones, it doesn't take you long to realize those were once humans.
you keep walking and you find the guard again, you blame him and fight him, when the guard dies you suddenly see a shadow fleeing away, you follow the shadow to an exit, you climb and find yourself in a hidden city and spot an old lady which tells you a legend about a men eaters tribe, you search for clues around the town only to discover more bones, the villagers look a bit weird and you decide it's not smart to stay, you run back down the well only to discover the guard, back on his feets , he looks hungry for your blood, you run back and you can't escape the villagers, they tell you that you look tasty, scared and confused you start begging for their mercy, it's then when someone you know shows up telling you that he/she setted you up and it was all a joke, you can then add that person to your party

it's optional cause you will have 4 without that person, i figured we can switch members in the inn or something and thus have the ability to choose the party we want

for my side quest idea:
i think you shouldn't say where to deliver the post, instead give an item with the text of the post and the player has to figure out in which board it belongs.
also if you can remove all wrong posts from a board and deliver them right, they will get small presents, and if they have delivered a certain amount of total wrong posts they also get presents and if the player could deliver all wrong posts he get some really strong item (maybe the best armor in the game, or the strongest weapon for the final battle)

maybe the enemies can use an attack called Spam!!
This attack you drive you nuts!!!!!

enemy attack called spam.. temp ban and ip ban for skills...
slowly but strongly it's getting nothing but stupid...
the main idea is ok being a forum game of the forum with the people in it but when you start overdoing it like now it just get ... annoying... think about it.
i don't see any good reason for why not calling the forums a kingdom, the cities are the forum sections and each post is a human of sort
spamming can be easily showed as a massive amount of that person (like a whole city of 1 person loaded with him)
the names of the skills should look a bit better.. i mean come on, "ban attack" you realize how lame that sounds?

I don't really know what I could do to help, so probably play the waiting game for a demo release.. But uh.. Yeah...

You could like... Use the Guilds here as a city or something..
And weapons could like have our ranks in it.

And your level can be Posting Level and your Mp could be like Posting Limit.

As you start off as a moderator,  going through the ranks would be hard... but who cares? We'll bend the rules a little  

Oh.  Yeah.  So, how exactly are you planning on implementing all of us into this game?  Are you going to find sprites of each of the characters in our avatars? :^^: I mean, are we going to be townspeople?  Or monsters? :whoa: Or shopkeepers...

Some guys will be monsters (already picked which ones ) mostly bosses, one or two of you will be rivals, people also trying to rescue crankeye, some of you will be head of towns so you give quests and stuff, and others youll have to rescue

You should have everyone who will be in it talk the way they do at the forums. So if some who says stuff like "r u going to the place" with very abbreviated words and improper grammar, then in the game, they should talk like that. I just think thats  a cool idea.

This is sounding cool, perhaps you can do a side quest with all the ickle newbies. (yes... like me. xD  I mean ya gotta have a rabid fangirl in there somewhere! One of the characters that means well but annoys the crap out of you... ) You might want to put some intrigue in here. some side love quest. Of course you have to do it in a funny way.  :^^:

Hey Dwarra, I just wanted tyo know if i was in this or not, i posted my charset earlier in the topic.

Oh, I think it would be pretty cool if the two seperate guilds in Crankeye should have to work through their rivalry to build up an army and wage a giant war against the "SPAM King's" giants army of flamers, spammers,etc. etc. And the main characters meet because they are the ones chosen to lead the army against them. But after the war, the guilds members had to retreat due to losses, and while they try and regroup for another attack, the "SPAM King" called for an attack on nearby villages and forts. Then the main characters are banished because they are the one blamed for the loss, although it was not their fault at all. And just as everyone thought victory was out of reach, the main characters find a way through the dangerous, poisonous arachnid infested, "World Wide Web" to get behind enemy lines, and thats when the real fight begins...

This is just a thought, but, if you do somehow use the world wide web part... can i be like a guide or something lol. Oh, and I wouldn't mind trying to help out with this, I can help on the story, or mapping, anything that I can be of help on.

I want to be funny, but most people just find me annoying ( i have 3657witnessis) and im kinda clumsy (ones i was talking to someone while walking and crashed against a pole (ouch)

I mean that EVERYONE, absolutely EVERYONE will be in the game, not in a big part though..
There will be few members that will take a BIG part of the game - Such as spammers and moderators, and other respected members here.
All the others will be mentioned as (hold on tight) MEMBERS. There won't be names or so, just MEMBERS.

No, KF has been given priority, but a little of the demo is done. But im not promising any dates, as that lead me to disaster ><

It's me with my computer protection. Pop up and spam blockers, three fire walls, Nortan Anti-virus, and a window washer protect this puppy. No one's getting past my defence.

If I'm an advice person I'd like to say to Pegasus and Crankeye on how they took over most of the forum, but me and the other sub forum leaders had protected the Dark Masters guild after they got to the old story, appologize about losing the story, and say we have to remake it, and that me and the other sub-forum leaders will help in any way we can.

Would either of those fit in?

He already told me I was going to be in it and I've been here a while, but the only wrong thing about what Dwarra said is that ANYONE can be in it and we have these people registering, who only have 5 posts, asking for an important part in the game.
