    • Ok, I am planning on getting a cheap HDD, $80 bucks for a 250 GB External Seagate HDD. It uses the USB port, ect.

    Anyway:

    [question] Can I set this HDD to where everything I download goes onto it, like if I plug it in an download a file, will it download to my near death internal 20GB HDD or my super sleek 250 GB HDD? [/question]

    • So long as nothing else changes drive-wise, when you unplug/replug it back in, windows will give the drive the same letter :)
