Move event? [RM2k3]

It sometimes cuts off the event moving to do another action. How do I get it to finish the move before the event gets "erased" or someone else talks?

Another thing it does is it starts to move when it's supposed to move before a "message", but it doesn't, it stays there,then when the message is done, it teleports to where it's suppoesed to end up. Why?
