an event that moves parallel to the hero ~ 2k3

k different question, I wanna create an event that moves with the hero, as in if the hero moves up so does the event, hero moves down so does event, etc. it's a shadow for the hero, so it also needs to face the same direction as the hero when standing still.  suggestions?

Erm... I don't use RM2k3 but probably if a person presses up, move the shadow up and etc. and put on ignore impossible movements?
