It was a tough choice between Arrow's and Skanker's entry. Since both suffered heavily from "oh god not another battle kill me now" syndrome, I had to leave it up to the rest of the game. Arrow's was extremely well put together and every detail was made perfect. Skanker's was rough around the edges, but the silly dialogue and cuteness made up for it. In the end I voted Skanker, because when it comes down to it, gaming is about the entertainment, and I laughed out loud more than once playing his game.

I also voted for Skanker's game. I thought it rocked, even with the power leveling. It kind of reminded me of one of the few FF's I ever actually enjoyed- namely, the re-release of the first for GBA.

And yeah I didn't have a lot of fun stuff put into my battle system, hoping to rectify that with an update patch I'll be releasing after the voting is over. As far as I know, EVA and Skanker are also making patches.

Yes. A clean, revamped re-release with the power levelling force fixed. I added that to add gameplay time lolz.

Extended dungeons, smoother animations, more soundeffects, better dungeon design and sub-quests coming up. All in all I felt mine was a success, so I won't let it go to waste with a half-assed version. The patch will be released when the voting is done

i too voted for skanker. arrow you game was great but had some balancing issues that kinda bugged me (encounter rate and 50 as average melee attack)

Well then, like I said (somewhere...) we're (at least skanker and I) going to be releasing updates to our contest entries. Mine should be ready by tonight, thanks in no small part to Wingard, my new partner! We intend to flesh out this thing into a complete title, so keep on the look out for the project topic!

Also: I'm talking with Nouman now, he's interested as well as Skanker, who will be helping after he finishes his I think.
