Can you actually make your person lay in a bed at an inn? Or should I just stick with after you say yes to staying it heals you and takes away money...?  Sorry if there is already a post on this I don't wanna look through a million topics. =P

"Good. We can attack in any direction."

Well..sometimes when the person is straight walking on the bed..it looks like he's sleeping..so u can move the vent to the bed and make him facing to us..(forward that is) it will look a little like he's sleeping...

Kind of like this I suppose:

When using an interior tileset, make a bed. Just above the bed there is a bed cover...go to the next layer and put that on the bed.

Now anyone is able to look like he/she/it is underneath the covers asleep.

And here is a hypothetical event command sequence for an inn if you want the person to walk automatically to the bed and then fall asleep (the move event is depending on the size of the room and where the hero needs to walk to to get into bed). Gold is already taken away and whatnot.

EDIT: Also what I forgot to put down in there is change of HP. Generally you want to do change of HP for all members of the party somewhere between those events.

Nightwolf

Yeah..somewhat cool...like that...

you can do the same thing in 2k3.  just make the event move to bed facing forward on his right or left side with a bed cover on the 2nd layer  :D  I didn't try it but i'm pretty sure i have b4

Time_Frog

Ok thx. And, I am using XP now, and I just realized, no portraits...that sucks for me because I think portraits rule! ='(
