In RPG Maker XP, the down graphics (you know, the ones that show people asleep or something) mess up when I use them in an event. They change into another image on that sheet. Any way to fix this?

Karo Rushe

It only happens unless your trying to move it.

or you've putten Walk Animation automatically -.-;;

shaz

no it doesn't.  It happens anytime you change the actor graphics, if they're not facing the correct way first (and sometimes even if they are...)

I struggled with the same problem and Zeriab came to my aid.  Droginator, you'll find the solution in the last post in this thread:

And this should have been posted in the Help section, not under Resources (and you probably could have found it yourself with a search).

Thank you, but that's not what i had in mind. What I was doing was making an event where the player wakes up a sleeping character. But whenever I pressed the action button it changed the graphic to a different down graphic.

ah - I understand what you're after now.

I got it working - this shows the event command you need to add.  Wording might be a little different if you don't have the legal version, but make sure that third box below the event graphic is checked (Direction Fix).

Thank You! That really helped.
