Okes, I searched for a thread on how to make doors open but I couldn't find one that really helped me. What I need to know is how to make the door open with the trigger set to Action Button. I tryed setting it to paralell event and put an even under it that transfurs the player to the next map. the transfur worked, but the door animation didn't. And another thing I need help on is items. I know I need to use swiches and varabiles. (Excuse my spelling.) But i don't know how to use eather of them. If any one could explane how to do these things or give me a link to a thread or website that can help me solve my problems......

On the event, put a sound effect open, then the movement of the door event so it opens. Then set screen tone 0 all, then put door back to normal by the movement, and then teleport and set screen tone back to normal.

A god damn door tutorial has been posted god knows how many times. Give me a sec and I'll find you one!

EDIT: It would appear that the one I was refering to has been deleted or Pruned! So i'll tell you now since I have nothing better to do!

First make the event with your door and stuff, set it to action key!

Now copy this into your event commands.

Code Select Expand

<>Move Event: This Event
            <>Play SE: Door Open (Or whatever you want)
            <>Change Graphic: Door2 (This is just the door partcially open)
            <>Wait 2
            <>Change Graphic: Door3 (The next frame of the open graphic)
            <>Wait 2
            <>Change Graphic: Door4 (sma e as above)
            <>Wait 2
<>Teleport: (Wherever the door leads to!)

Thats as easy as anyone can put it!

Your welcome, sorry, it was my bad, it appeared that the door tut. I was talking about had been pruned/deleted.

Omg here we go. a quick tutorial...

If you want any door to open, a chest to open, or anything to open or somthing like that, all you have to do is this simple move event.

PK is the same as the legal version...except it isn't legal and most of it is in Japanese.
