The Scrolls of Time; Demo and Screenies so pay attention!

The Scrolls of Time, the next big production from Earthstorm Games
is officially 30% complete, and with all of the following amazing features!

Remember, these are not things I plan to make, but a list of things that are already done!

* A complex and exciting storyline involving two worlds,
past and future, both with different styles of gameplay.

* A unique and sophisticated action battle system, which works perfectly
and is completely professional-grade.
this is nothing like Staff, or any action-RPG out there so far.
This is a fighting system that is interactive, challenging and fun!

* A Real World Time Date and Weather system that works without a glitch,
creating random weather, and seasons of the year, including the leaves falling off the trees in autumn.

* Over 4 hours of gameplay including the first boss battle!

And all this is availible on the official Final Demo.
Remember,this is the last version of this gameyou are going to see
untill this fall, when the Final Version takes the Rios-Ent game making contest by storm!

Alright, I love polls, so I made an easy way of letting you let me know what you think, so vote!

Okay, playing this makes me happy its only a demo... there are somethings about it that I couldn't finish the game becuase I got so frustrated:

I have to do the fighting tutorial or else you don't get the power to jump, attack, or defend. I die so easly becuase you fall off the ground and you have to start all over again! Problems with the other character following you, mostly doesn't jump with you, making you jump twice. I got hit by a rock, game froze for 5 seconds and I died.

What I like was the battle system. Its great! The falling down thing though, it really blows, maybe you fall go back into the level with less HP or whatever. The story is neat, I guess.

Fix the things I said, then I'll play again. That game over song is stuck in my head becuase I keep dying!  Frustration!

Well, here's the laydown however...
The falling off thing is part of the challange and I'm not sure I want to change it.
I'll make the tutorial skipable right away.
The other character is really hard to fix, I'm still trying.
Consider the rocks as good as fixed.

On afterthought, the falling thing wouldn't make you start all over if you had saved in the field.
Even if you didn't know what that red circle was, the help section would have told you.
Ala in all, I agree with everything else you said but not this.
Falling off is a challange.
If it annoys the player, the player learns to stop falling off!
The tutorial DID say walk carefully lol!

The fighting system is so good, the opening scene(s) were great. This is a great game. A few minor glitches where alex does not follow Lena properly but with some simple work that could be fixed!
Overall, brilliant!

Just tried out the demo, and whee~ it was a nice experience for a change~

I basically liked how you implemented the time, which the player can even choose to customise, and the weather system. Not sure if that plays a role in the later-part of the game, but it might be cool if it does (like um, slippery platform on rainy day?).

A minor complain I have is that the status-window colour-contrast isn't too good. Especially with the blue/green layout. I could still see the text in the status-window, but not with ease. Still, it could be just me.. :^^:

And, about the 'challenge' in the walking-part. That one really need a lot of practice and patience from me...seeing as how many attempts I took before I could even clear the tutorial-stage  :whoa:
