[Writing] LOL, I came across an old poem I wrote like 2 years ago.

Failure

I've tried so hard and came up short,
My effort was in vain.
I've done my best to no avail,
And I have felt the pain.
I've demonstrated nonsuccess,
I've no triumphant grip.
My victory was not fulfilled,
I've slipped 'twixt cup and lip.
Mistakes were made, a mess remained,
And no one could repair.
I've rolled the stone of Sisyphus,
And drowned in my despair.
Now all my work was brought to naught,
And hope began to fade.
The letter that begins this word
Became my final grade.

Good Morning

Awaken to the sunrise,
And watch the sky ignite.
The stars are flickering off now
As the solar flames give light.

Awaken to the sunrise
As crickets take their leave.
The peaceful buzzing ceases
as the mourning doves do grieve.

Awaken to the sunrise,
And feel the gentle breeze.
Hear the sound of quiet whistling
As the zephyrs grace the trees.

Awaken to the sunrise.
The rooster joins the fray,
And cries out his announcement
Of the dawn of a new day.

Those were actually pretty good. I wrote a song for english  this year about how i procrastinated with our ummer reading project.
