How do I properly loop music [RPG Maker XP]?

I has come to my attention that other than the RTP base set of music, imported BGM doesn't loop. So I have come here with two problems.

1.) How do I loop music?

2.) How do I properly utilize it where it would only loop on the time frames that I want it to.

Can you please help me?
