The url above will give you the 2 player mode "Script" thingy everyones been asking for. I did not make it ... I got it from somewhere.

The Script is not completely done, so your going to have to finish it up. But the 2 player mode does work. Try it out.


PLAYER 1 CONTROLS - The up,down,left, and right arrows

PLAYER 2 CONTROLS -

W button - move up
D button - Move right
A button - Move left
S - Move down


I hope your happy. (In order to finish up this script you need scripters. You can find them in this forum. I bet they can do it. My advice is see BlueXx maybe he'll be intrested in finishing it up. I don't know.

I'd really like to see you making a split screen using events.
Besides the event interaction would be problematic without scripts.

Anyway I must say it's a pretty nice Beta.
I do look forward to the final version as you could make some nice mini-games with this.

Yes, Awsome head to head mini-games for sure. But yeah what ever. Someone please finish this script so others can use it. It's only half way done but it still kinda works. So yeah ...

What it needs... the 2nd player needs an enter button and then a translated to 2 players Action Battle Script. :/

Also a screen enlargment to say... 1024 x 768 might be nice.

Trying to go into battles with this script crashes the game.  If you don't want the action battle that needs to be fixed

yes and I was looking forward to doing a fighting scene, well i guess its just doing non fighting quests *sigh*

Hey, i could really use this script finished.. and i might be able to do it.. what all did you change in your script editor in the demo..
i tried putting it into my game and it doesnt like it..

Were you sure to also copy the keyboard input script? You need that for it to work.

I copied everything,

*Game_Player2
*Keyboard_Input
*Keyboard 2
*Sprite_Character2
*Spriteset_Map2
and I even deleted Window_Message and added
*Window_Message1
and
*Window_Message2

I dont think i missed anything else but if i did then can someone help me out with this

The common event.  Did you copy the common event?

Two questions..


1.If i add this in my own game can i set a sprite for both players

2. Can i make the main menu say New Game---> Single Player
                                                                    Multi Player ? 

yeah i copied the common events and placed them all exactly as they were in the demo in my game, i think maybe i'm just missing a script in the editor that isnt marked with the * but i dont know..
