well, some like "good" moves to, but it's like video games.
People play games with spanning worlds, storylines, and complex gameplay, as well as games that really tax your mind. However, people such as me can also be in the mood for games where you just mess around and/or kill stuff.
Both are good, just for different moods.
Die hard is what "we americans" call a "summer movie". It's there to take up time and to entertain, not to make us think or to teach us something. Hell, we don't even care about the wellbeing of the characters, although that could be because Bruce Willis is so bad-ass in it that we don't think he can be killed.
Which he can't.
Woot for destroying (silly Mac* for saying "killed a helicopter", you don't "kill" them) helicopters with cars...
