In rm2k3, I believe, you have the option to change the "position" of a character, moving them from the front, the default position, to the back row where they recieve a defense bonus but reduced attack, or something like that. Anyway, to my knowledge, this is not possible in RMXP, they system I use. Or is it? Can you change the battle positions of characters in RMXP? If so, and I would assume it would be done with (cringe) a script, then could someone provide me with a link or point me in the right direction? Thanks!
[spoiler=My Game Recommendations] 1) Demon Gate --- A great game with a terrific character-relationship system, an engaging story, and plenty of secrets and options for players who wish to be good/evil.

2) Midnight --- A survival-horror game created with RPG Maker XP. Combat plays out in the smoothest running real-time battle system I have seen yet.

3) The Healer --- A charming game with beautiful mapping and a fun battle system. One of the few games to use a healer as a main character, and so far it's pulled off well.

modern algebra

Go to the class tab in the database, and directly to the right of Name, there is a drop down menu for Position

Aha! So there is. But there is no way for the player to control the position of the character, now is there? That's what I was hoping for.
