Allright, that's good. I mean, it's good that you have enough faith to stick with your religion. But look at it this way:
You're a chtistian, right? Well, that doesn't matter. If you're not a christian, replace that word with whatever religion you are.
Let's say (hypothetically, not insultingly) that your parents were satanic. Not that they are. But for the purpose of this excersise. Now, you, being a christian, obviously are appalled by this idea. Can you imagine that if your parents were satanic that you would be, too?
No? You wouldn't?
See. The religion your parents are doesn't necessarilly have any bearing on your own. The reason people generally take on their parents' religion is that they are forced into it. Parents drag their kids to churches, cinagogs, and whatever else.
In my opinion that is what's wrong with religion. If it were up to me, when you got old enough to make your own descisions (an arguable age, but probably around 13), your parents would give you information on all the various religions and let you choose for yourself.
