New Wii

I was reading on gamespot, that for the DVD player, they're going to make an updated Wii. But how they put it, it could be either just a firmware upgrade, a download thing like the browser or a new updated system. People think that if they do make an updated Wii, it's going to have new colors...I hope that's not true, because I already have mine, and I don't want to have to re-buy it!

I hope Nintendo goes smart and makes it an update, not a new Wii...

Meh, makes sense to wait till the 2nd or 3rd generation of a console once they add features that were too late for the 1st and fix possible hardware problems etc.

My 5xxx series PS2 is running along fine =o.

Hmmm...It would make sense if they just released the colors, but for the DVD player, I doubt they'll make you re-buy it just for the feature.

Maybe, for the new ones it'll come standard, but for the older ones maybe just a download. Because I remember that when it was still the Revolution that they said there will be a DVD player, but you have to buy it. My brother thought it would be more like a key that you would have to buy to unlock it...and he also thought that there would be like a million of cracks for it too, so who knows...

If not, it already has the hardware, but you need a patch what not...
