My character when I test play my games shoots to to the top of the screen without me even doing anything. I can't even have my character run down or face me.

Help plese.

ok, where did you set the starting point? If you set it elsewhere, make sure that the autotiles ar eset to PASSIVE in your tilesets, and th eones that you want inpassive have the square on them, and not the X.

Autotiles are tiles that automatically interact with eachother or "connect" based on their file image. Each tileset in your game can have up to 7 autotiles. Autotiles are also unique in that you can set their passability to a little square icon, apposed to the normal X and O. This square means that they will be able to go one space under the top tile of it if it is connected to other autotiles.

Do you have an event that moves your character?  If so, check that the move command isn't set on"Repeat Movement", because it does the same thing.
