So I just finished this series. It's by far the most graphically and psychologically violent anime/cartoon I have ever seen; but I have to say despite the sometimes uncalled for violence factor, it is now my personal favourite series.

Anyone else seen it? It doesn't seem to be too well known.

I'd recommend the series to anyone 17+ who think they can withstand excessive (graphical) violence and nudity (The first 10 minutes of the show is probably up there with some of the most violent scenes ever animated). Personally, the story was what I really liked. It seems to be rather controversal in terms of rating due to how it takes a lot of things to the extreme; so there is a lot of shock factor involved.

I've seen it. For the longest time I had considered it my favorite anime, and to be honest, I'm not sure if it still is, if not, it's close up the list. The anime and manga do split though. The manga takes a (surprisingly) much darker path in the story. (going further than the anime showed)

Yeah I took some glimpse at the manga, but mainly just to get a feel of closure on the ending, heh. I can't really find the last chapters of the manga anywhere though. $:-\$ So I just read the summaries in the end. But personally I like the Anime a lot better than the Manga, though possibly because that's what I saw first.

I found a piano midi of Lilium and turned it into music box. Woo; sounds pretty much alike the music box in the series imo. (Attachment)

This was a really cool anime. Does anybody know where I can find the manga though? I've looked around, but I haven't been able to find the things.

I watched the IY4ever subs and I must say that Reives said it best. This series has a high degree of violence, nudity(non-sexual but still nudity), and the shock factor is well...horrifying. The series overall is very thought provoking as well. This has to be one of the only anime that has an opening song that I like. I even have a link to guitar tabs for it somewhere in my e-mail box. >_>; I highly recommend this series to anyone who has a high tolerance to blood, violence, and hasn't finished a depressing anime any time recently.
