- All themes now have a nice topic header that you see when you're viewing a topic =o

- The dark theme is now the forum's standard theme - you can still use any of the others by selecting them from your profile. Users who have another theme already set won't have had their theme changed; it's only the forum's default changed =o

- Did some fixes on the dark theme, now the header looks fine for users on Shit Browser 6 Internet explorer 6. Apparently usernames don't show for people on IE7 but do for all other browsers (including IE6 ??? ), going to see what I can do about that now =x

- Djang hugged me in chat (if she denies it shes lying  )

- Grass theme now is usable on IE  - If you're logged in. Still needs moar work >: It also has the buttons up the top for the wiki / chat etc.

- Speaking of those buttons, there's a new one, a donate button. This takes you to a nice new page that gives you info and shows you who's donated etc :)

Roph

Yeah, still a few buttons left to do on the dark theme :P

Silverline, you are simply awesome. You have added so much to the forums. And now I can try out the Grass Theme. ;D

Zeriab

I love the buttons.

Awesome.

I noticed the moderation buttons for posts have been moved to underneath the postbits. I was very confused at first when I was trying to delete someone's post LOL  ;8

Roph

Every theme has a "Switch theme" thingy at the bottom now that takes you to the page =o

- Dark theme - I need to remember to add some spacing in between the buttons, lol, they don't look so good right up against each other like that =x

Right Djang?

User menus are working perfectly now in ALL browsers. By all, I mean Firefox, Opera, IE6 and IE7. Haven't tested in others but those 4 browsers make up 96% of rmrk's traffic, so.

Kind of gift to the staff for being awesome staff, they now have these cool things <3

Any chance for that to work outside of the Dark Theme any time soon?

:)

I would assume it takes time to do this stuff.
Watch out for: HaloOfTheSun

Irock

I think he just has to copy some code. But I'm probably wrong.

Roph

an SMF theme is built from template files, and the dark theme's one for displaying topics is now pretty different from the others in alot of places, so I have to update stuff in the others before I can put the new stuff in =o
[fright]bringing sexy back[/fright]

Zeriab

I am sure you can update the other themes to become awesomely awesome like the dark theme <3

Grass/fields theme is now fixed up.

- Works on IE6 & 7 fine, for logged in people and guests alike :)

- Now has the user menus and other stuff etc:

Roph

I'm going to finish up the changes for the pink theme and light theme also soon :)

Irock

The box in the grass theme comes up far to the right. :o

Roph

You're using firefox, so am I. I can't reproduce the issue ?_?

Did it do it just once, or is it all the time fo ryou ?_? had the page finished loading before you opened a menu ?_?
[fright]bringing sexy back[/fright]

Irock

I figured it out. I'm in a higher resolution.

In 1440x900 it's as I showed you. In 800x600 it appears like this...

Roph

blaerg, happens cause it's fixed width. It's designed for fluid width forums. ie, every other theme.

[fright]bringing sexy back[/fright]

Irock

Oh, I see.
It's not much of a problem anyways.

Revo

You should probably change this...
QuoteHave you checked out the GRASS THEME!? Note: IE Sucks, this theme is unusable on IE
Since it now works on IE. ;D
I just thought about it.

I like how guests are called Sneaky Snoopers now  :bean:

Added a little page generation info bit into the footer of all themes. It's in the source as a comment;

:)

[edit] I haven't actually, just the dark theme for now

Roph

Tells you how long it took the server to build the page and how many times it looked up info from the forum's satabase =o
[fright]bringing sexy back[/fright]

Arrow

Oh, so that's what that is! Now I know what the one on Google means too. :)

Winged

I have a suggestion: A quick reply box like in those other forums. Need an example?? =D

~Winged

Arrow

Psssssssssssssssssssssssst:

Check your options in the profile section. He kinda like...haaaaaas one...huheh...

Roph

Yeah, you can enable those in your profile :)

Speaking of profiles, I'm working on a little something.

I'm thinking then in the dropdown things in topics (and on their profiles), you can have a link to their wiki page (if they've set one).

Another thing I had in mind would be a set of options (like a dropdown or something), so people can specify what maker they use; RM2k, 2k3, XP, or Game Maker, and then on their postbits, have an icon to show =)

That screenshot is on my local copy of RMRK, not going to add it to the real version just yet, have other stuff to fix up on RMRK first :)

Kokowam

I thought Silver was going to add the mod's super rep thing. :tpg: Also, that seems like a good idea! :D Also, I use quick reply (pretty much 99% of the times :P)

Arrow

Woah, what's this about super rep?

As soon as you give one group more power than another with a vote based system, the purpose of ever having voted at all is completely defeated. If rep is what one man and one vote can tell you about your approval rating, and you don't know who put forth how many votes, then a super rep option destroys what little meaning the rep system has!

modern algebra

No, moo just saw the picture Silver posted and mistakenly thought the feature being added was the super rep option, when it was the wiki link. Only admins can super rep, I believe, and I don't think he ever uses it.

Roph

Yeah, only admins can directly edit rep =p. It's standard in SMF. In that screenshot I was meaning you to see the wiki thing =o
[fright]bringing sexy back[/fright]

Arrow

lol whoops

Yeah, the wiki link is a good idea. When I had Jap's thing in my sig I had made it link to my wiki page.

Winged

Whoa...I seriously had no idea you could do that, I thought it was default O_o
Thanks for the help, now I may double my amount of posts =D

~Winged

Dwarra?

Ive been using quick reply for about 5 months ;D

Roph

Finally brought the Light theme up to date with the rest of them.

:) Pink theme update coming next =o
[fright]bringing sexy back[/fright]

Kokowam

Yay, Light Theme! I'm going back to that.

Moss.

This new quote thing kinda sucks for people with quotes in their sigs. Now their sigs are, like, huge because of the big, booming QUOTE BY letters.
* Ryan complaining about something again, lol

:tinysmile::tinysmile:

Moss.

When is the dark theme going to get a real link to the calendar?

This thing is now online. You can fill out your wiki page info in your profile. Soon, (if you've filled it out), people will be able to go to your wiki page via the dropdown menus in topics :)

[edit] If you've set your wiki page, now when somebody visits your profile they'll see a link to it there. Check mine for example :)
