Beauty or Personality

I was wondering what the males on this forum prefer in a woman. Beauty or Personality? Both in a girlfriend and a date. Does the beauty to personality ratio change from being a date to a girlfriend?

Both, obviously. But people's definition of each is very different. As far as looks go, I gravitate toward "cute" girls that are happiest in jeans and a tshirt or hoodie. Personality wise, I like a little fire in a girl. Maybe even a bit tomboyish.

Same here, but in addition to those personality traist I also like a girl who is a bit eclectic, and maybe even kind of weird.

Both are important. Beauty, to me, is being able to look pretty without doing anything to make yourself look that way. And as for personality, unpredictability ftw.

Exactly right, that's the whole point in beauty with any species of animal, an attractor.

Im on a double date. With a fat girl, and with a sex bomb.

The sexbomb was really hot, but she didn't had any good personality.

The fat one is not good looking, but she has the best personality I ever has seen.

If this was happen( Wich will never happen), I would take the fat one. Even if she's not fat, but just don't look good, but had a wonderfull personality, I will choose that person.

A sexual relationship: Fat girl/attractive girl. I don't care what their personalities are like, no man will pick a physically and noticeably  ugly girl (no matter how you click) over a very attractive girl... We're talking about sex here, not "just being friends" with her.

It's basic evolution, personality is a distant second compared to beauty. You're subconsciously looking for a genetically superior mate, how you tell this is by what you find physically attractive.

If you pick the ugly girl over the attractive one, it's because you have a twisted sexual fetish for how that "ugly" girl looks. If given a choice, men will choose the mate that they find as the most attractive.

We're all slaves to evolution, not much can be done about it...

That's only if sex is a part of the relationship, though. To some people (like me), sex is one of the least important things in a relationship.

Sex for me isn't that important because of Christianity. XD A good healthy relationship consists of FUN. And kisses and hugs. And... Hm... More love.

Not that you really have a choice. When Saucy is talking about sex, I'm pretty sure she's meaning our instinct to continue the population. You might not care about sex, but your genes do.

Maybe instead of beauty and personality. It is attraction. Someone that doesn't look good to you, looks great to someone else! Someone without the greatest personality still has the greatest personality to someone that's attracted to the person.

Actually, I agree... It should be Physical Attraction and Personality Attraction (or some better word. )

If a girl's ugly and her personality's great, well, I'm still not going to be attracted to her. Maybe I'd want to be friends, but not more.
However, I've found the more attractive the girl the more likely she is to be an insufferable cunt I'd hate to be around.

Maybe instead of beauty and personality. It is attraction. Someone that doesn't look good to you, looks great to someone else! Someone without the greatest personality still has the greatest personality to someone that's attracted to the person.

It's just... If the personality sucks you will break up rather quickly.

If you manage to stick through the first 2 or 3 dates and you find out the personality rules you are prone to stay even if the person's beauty is reduced significantly.

Honestly, I think we all need a bit of both to stay happy. People are shallow towards beauty by nature. But we'd kill ourselves if we had to live with an airhead for the rest of our lives.

Well, I haven't actually met someone who can make me drool all over, but here's my opinion :

You don't love a girl because she is beautiful, but she is beautiful because you love her.
So, I think beauty and personality is needed for a balance in human.

Although I chose personality than beauty any day.

Well it has been 3 months since my post. In those 3 months I've had 3 relationships.

1. extremely beautiful, but princess personality.
2. just unappealing to me, but an amazing personality. she had so many pluses.
3. abnormally gorgeous in the way Pam Anderson is, with a hick personality

Despite the amazing personality of #2, I felt nothing for her, which is really sad. There was nothing wrong, it's just that she wasn't my definition of outer beauty. Oddly enough I find myself going for #1, the princess. She's so much a princess, with a harsh personality that makes her very difficult to keep any sort of peace.

I want at least a moderatly pretty girl, and at least moderate personality. But after that, personality is more important, but since I know where to find both 

A little bit'a this, and a little bit'a that. 60% personality and 40 % beauty.

I would say 80% personality, 60-70% Beuty... saly she is taken. But I will not be slowed
