Ordered to walk right but decides to walk left?

Hi, i'm new...

I'm trying to make an opening cutscene where a guy walks into the room, talks to the main character, and walks out.

When i order him to move right, he moves left.

Anyone know why?

?_? was he moving left before that step? show a screenie of the event page.
also remember to mention the version of rpg maker you are using.

When you ordered the guy to move right a few commands back does he do it? I guess you could check if there's anything in the way, or try turning phasing mode on. If all else fails, make a new event and redo it, sometimes odd bugs can show up :\

add a wait for moves completion after it.
