ok, tell me if these two pages are how they are supposed to be for deleting an event forever

page 1    http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/1541/untitledtk8.png

page 2    http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/7296/untitled1pq0.png

First of all on page 1 you dont need a Precondition Set for Self Switch A = On.

Second, you need to add a Self Switch A = On event on page 1 after you choose yes and do all the stuff you set up for it.

3rd, if you just want the message to go away after you say no, you dont need to have an exit event processing just leave it blank or put a message that say "Ok, that's fine" or something along those lines.

Not quite. On the first page, you are supposed to turn a switch, any switch, ON as the final thing on that page. On page 2, see where it says, under 'Conditions', 'Switch', 'Switch', 'Variable'? Have one of the 'Switch' be checked and have that Switch that you turned ON (on the first page) be visible in that slot. Then just leave the second page blank. Have it on parallel process/action/anything; as long as its not 'Auto Run' (not sure if Auto Run will screw up in this case, seeing as how there are no tasks to do, but just in case, no 'Auto Run'). That should do it.
STILL NEED FEEDBACK ON MY RUNNING/JUMPING SYSTEM!

Self switches are more efficient.

so, page 1 should be http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/8500/trigger1kb6.png
and page 2 should be http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/5720/trigger2xq2.png
?

because if that is right, whenever i playtest the game, the person/event isnt showing up. there is nothing there.

That is incorrect. Uncheck the Switch box on the first page.

And you have to turn on the switch on the first page in the Yes Branch

Also, you could probably use a self-switch, rather than a global.

Here's a tutorial you should read:

Switches

No, but it is close. Replace the conditional branch you have with the event command "Control Switches" (1st tab, 2nd column, at the top), and have that command turn Switch 001 ON.

Or use Self-switches

Here's a quick demo I made up for someone else, it's not exactly what you want, but It demonstrates the use of self-switches, and all you have to do is replace the stuff about gold with the party switching stuff.
