Moss.

I do so love that track.

I've been really in to this kind of stuff lately.

I've been jamming out to this song often lately. It's a jazz/hip hop instrumental, but it's weirdly surreal, it sounds as though a lot of it is sampled. The longer it goes on the more off key and disconcerting it gets. And then you start it over again, and it feels like a whole different song in the beginning.

I had no idea there was a pony-pop niche. That's... that's...

Well here's what I ran across, this band did the opening cover of "Dancing With Myself" for the TV show L.A. Ink and it turns out they do a tonne of covers and originals in the samba swingy jazzy style.

It's the link in my sig. Not bad for ameteur animation and the song grabs me... not just because it has GLaDOS in it, either.

I just added Chipzel to my programming playlist.

Something about vocalists like this just gets to me. I don't know what it is.

Double posting because this is like the exact opposite of the one I just linked.

Dwarra?

Don't like that first vocalist at all, other one is alright but the whole presentation is pretty bad apart from the calvin and hobbes shtick.

also I forgot to say it but Nouelle Vague is awesome, I found them because of that Dead Kennedys cover. They do a bunch of other cool ones like the Killing Moon and Master and Servant, etc.

Also learning to play this is hard:

Well, I could say, I am pretty depressed at the moment, but well, maybe it will pass by or maybe me, only time will tell. :'(

Moss.

What a hell of a comeback for that band. Jeez.

The new Soundgarden wasn't bad, either.

Dude I must be living under a rock, because I didn't even know they HAD a new album. I'm going to listen to the whole thing right now.

So I like djent. Didn't see that coming. But this band is really good. Really complicated, heavy, rhythmic music, and the singer's pretty great, too. It ends up creating some really powerful moments.

Those screams at 4:29, with the guitars fading in ... oh my god, that gives me chills.

and it just builds and builds and BUILDS AND BUILDS AND BUILDS oh my god

TesseracT is fucking awesome
My friend Parker (who actually was a member here at one point) makes some pretty sweet djent.
