I use RPG Maker 2003 (french version), because I like the Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis old school graphics and it's much easier to draw 16x16 tiles than 32x32 for me

In keeping with the local mod discussion, I'm going to go out of my way to be overly sweet and compassionate to you.

*Ahem*

Dear pokefan,

I would like to congratulate you on your 4 year old necropost! This is an huge accomplishment for anyone, but seeing as you have over 30 posts, its even greater so for you. The reason, you ask? Well, its simple: You've posted here enough to know that digging up old threads is generally frowned upon! Don't feel bad, though. We all make mistakes sometimes. Since we're being super nice to everyone for a while, I'd just like to thank you for your continued support of RMRK. Please refrain from necroposting in the future. Now that all that ugly nonsense is out of the way, here's a mug of hot cocoa to help you sleep.

I never understand why bringing up old threads is frowned upon, if anything it keeps the discussion going for new generations! Yay!

Regardless, I would have to vote for XP simply because one can use it as a very user friendly graphics engine by stripping down every script and writing over them. It's easier than using Gosu or other Ruby graphics libraries.

2000 is good mainly for the good games people made with it and the imaginative systems. XP brought plug and play and laziness.
