What stats should a last boss have?
You think so?

:)

enough to make sure the hero needs at least 10 potions and 5 life potions.

Er... This is kinda a vague question... But, I agree with Nouman. Just make sure that it isn't insanely easy even at the max level. That is my suggestion.

Yeah, some of that is a bit crazy, but HP:40000?
The first boss in one of my games has HP:10000 for it...

I think stats doesn't really matter that much at all. Just make it have a sufficient amount of hitpoints. Then, for the actual battle itself, event a bunch of extraordinary artificial 'skills'/'attacks' with the battle commands such as deal damage, battle animations, messages, and etc.

Make it interesting, not just a regular enemy with 10 times the stats. ;)

Frohman

Depends partly on which version of RPG Maker you are using

also you could give your final boss multiple forms to increase the variety and toughness
You just got Frohwned!

I think that a high amount of HP is a must for final bosses. Example:I have a Final Boss, wich i plan shall have 4 forms, and each have 999999HP. As you might probally know, then it is almost impossible to give them more than 99999 HP in the Official version. But i have still made one with that much... The PK edition has the largest Database window, and therefore, the longest HP box. My point is that a Last Boss with 999999HP is a good'n'tough Last Boss. Oh yeah, the skills will always make a battle interesting too. The stats should be kept high.
I'm a multitasker!

That is actually the worse boss ever, 99999Hp each form? And to put 4? it would piss-off the Player really badly, making it a "Bad Game" >_> a terrible mistake.

A Final Boss is mostly an Enemy where Every battle you have fought, you must use those stratergies against it.

The Last Boss 1st Form is tricky and easy, and so it escalates until it reaches final Form, and in it's final form, it's Attack and Abilities changes, every form must Have a Different stratergy.

A Final Boss cannot have 99999HP, it would be annoying, I would hate it to fight some Final Boss with 99999 HP each form, it doesn't make sence.

Nor a Boss with 999 Evasion or Defence, etc.

>=/ Something like that is more excusable for an "Optional Boss" A Boss with forms shouldn't have more than 50000 Hit Points other than to say how the player equips his Characters.

That is a fact =/
