RMRK is retiring.
Registration is disabled. The site will remain online, but eventually become a read-only archive. More information.

RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.

Hello, from what I understand there is a way to make an RPG with the same type of gameplay as ALttP, is this true? If so, how?

Hi, there.
Yes. The system is called an Action Battle System (ATB)

Though they are not fully bug free, they still do work. Read up on it in that link. There is also a demo and script.

Now I have another question, how I install SDK scripts? The FAQ in the SDK didn't help...

Hi, there.
Easily:

1. Go into Tools -> Script Editor.
2. In the script Section box on the left, scroll all the way down to the bottom till you see the Script named "Main".
3. Right click it and select Insert.
4. Now name the Script SDK (or whatever you want).
5. Go to the script you found (wheather you save it to a document or you see it on a site) and select all of the script.
6. Right click it and copy.
7. Now goto your new script and paste all of the script in there.
8. Now click Apply and Ok.

That simple. Make sure if you ever add a script that it is always above the main script (unless directed to otherwise)

Hope this helps!
