[RESOLVED] How to choose a name (2k)

I've seen this before and have even used it years ago but I can't seem to remember for the life of me how it's done. In 2k I want to have something that lets you choose your character name, like I said I know it's possible an I saw how to do it on a popular site (that's down now >.<). When my game starts you choose a proffesion and image but it kind of sucks not being able to choose a name.

You use the Enter Hero Name event command in XP and 2k3, but I am not sure about 2k. I would assume there is something similar.

Well I've seen it done before pretty well and I've done it way back a few years ago (it was all confusing and probably way to complicated though). I mean I knowit can be done but it's rough and takes a lot of crap. I was just wondering if anyone knew off hand how to do it.

Enter Hero Name is in 2k. It's the first that had it.

The Enter Hero Name patch should fix a problem with the Enter Hero Name. Follow the instructions.
