Well I was thinking of throwing this into my game, but I'm unsure of whether or not this is worth anymore time.

The Language Seckuith (Zeqquidd)

This is the language of those you will find around you. It is not of any tongue that you recognize, nor do you have the time to learn it.

Vowels:

y- makes a long -e- sound or a hard -u- sound
qq- sounds k
vc- v sound then quickly a k sound

Letters:

g- sounds like j

hy- short i sound
j- sounds like g
k- sounds like qu

z- sounds like s


Zeqquidd forms simple sentences as such:

-The brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
-Ddosr qqes i boyr senidd ylv ignad.

The order is subject>action>object. Adjectives always come after the noun, unless it is being used in a spell. Verbs are easily identified because they all end in yr. To make a known feminine, add an -'a- after it, once added there is no possibility that it is masculilne.

The future tense is formed by adding -asyv'- before the verb. The past is formed by adding -ghyn'-.

Like many other languages though, there is a 1st 2nd and 3rd peron. Using the plural source verb in a sentence is the only way to tell if something is plural or not. Example:

-The brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
-Ddosr qqes i boyr senidd ylv ignad.
-The brown foxes jump over the lazy dog.
-Ddosr qqes ivc boyr senidd ylv ignad.

The source verbs are as follows:
        Singular  |  Plural
1st= u  |  uhnam
2nd= ze  |  zezipiz
3rd= i  |  ivc

To make something negative add -nedd- in between the source verb and the verb.

There is no accusitive form of the pronouns, you just put in the pronoun as the object:
-The brown fox jumps over me.
-Ddosr qqes i boyr mhy.

Possesive is shown by adding one of the following to the end of the possesed object:

1st- 'hy | 'noz
2nd- 't | 'voz
3rd- 'rh | 'rhyv
       'ulv |
To form the dative case, add -'gjo- to the end of the word that is having something done to it.

Unless that is trying to say "I use to be brown"... then Im lost in translation

I'm not trying to get anyone to speak it, just to tell me if it's worth continuing, since after a few more words it is a legitimate language.

Of course its worth continuing. It may be hard to read but Im sure it wasnt meant for the player to know exactly what the message is saying while playing.

Think of it like when you played Zelda and you saw some Hyrulian scriptures. No one knew what they said unless it was translated for you in game or you actually went to some site to figure it out.

So, I think it is a good idea, but then again it is all up to you.

I doubt it will be a hit, it'll be too hard to understand. but it's an interesting idea....
