This was a game I started about half a year ago as a "joke game" for a friend at school.  It's a parody on Super Mario.

Edit- The controls are OK, but the K being to kick the soccer balls is kinda annoying.... it was hard to jump and kick at the same time.

That is being fixed in the remake...when I can finally get around to it.  Unfortunately college is coming up and I had to get a job for money...and all-day jobs suck for game designers.

It was a little joke game that arose from a discussion one day at lunch.  It wasn't intended on being a major game...not until practically everyone in my friend's grade played it and either insisted on a remake or thought my friend and I were nutcases.  That's why it's a little repetitive and lacking, but the remake is going to be much better if I can get around to it.  The controls will be better, there's gonna be more stuff, more varied Mario-style levels that are more straightforward, and a bigger diversity of enemies.  All it involves is editing the levels, adding new objects and sprites, and somehow making good dialogue while keeping the file size to a minimum.

well, the remake is coming along terribly slowly, but I do have another perio-based game in production.

The new remake of Uber Perio, though, will have checkpoints and such...see the To Do list on the GMC topic.  I thnk I've got a checkpoint system worked out but I hope it doesn't glitch or anything on me.
