Here are some maps I made.
-An Island


-Indoor


-Village



Are these maps good? Bad? What I want to know is how can I improve these maps.

Criticism are welcome.(especially the village map)

Island- It looks pretty good.

Indoor- The stairs seem out of place in the middle of the floor. Moving them to the left one would see a bit better. Also, the entrance area is really very empty. Add some stuff to the walls.

Village- The eight bushes around the crossroads seem a bit odd somehow, but I can't put my finger on it. Also, there's a LOT of stumps, stumps w/ axes, and lumber. I'd cut them down a little bit, unless this town is new and on the edge of a forest...

Oh, and if I move the stairs to the left, it looks awkward. And the stairs on the second floor, will look really really bad.

For the village, yeah there are a LOT of wood and stuff around. But then again...the village IS close to the forest(island map the village to the left).

Any other things I can improve?

Since you won't move the stairs, be sure to have something on its left. And be sure to hear from other people too, I'm really only a newb.

What bothered me the most is the stair.
And the outline of the interior seems too simple.

But I envy your skill at exterior mapping.

The stair...Does anyone have a good suggestion on where I should put the stair?
Outline of the interior, huh? Yeah, it is simple but it was supposed to be that way, look at the village map. The house on the upper left. Thats linked to the indoor.
