Whats happend in Israel is a crying shame...

Basic history:-

After the world wars the Jews got given a chunk of land (Israel)
The people in Lebanon didn't much like that, and saw it as a terrorist act (an Invasion if you like)
There has been tension and fights for years...
Even freedom fighters in Lebanon attacking Israel...
Israel has the USA's backing
Lebanon Iran's backing
The freedom fighters / Terrorists in lebanon (Hezzbolah) have had backing from various Arab states INC Iraq

Recent History:-

Hezbolla took hostage a few Israel soliders and killed a couple in doing so
Israel responded by levelling a whole city, after dropping letters for the public to GTFO
Many stayed and many died... Nasty stuff...
Hezbolla got more backing... And the people of Lebanon started fighting against their own police

Every thing is quite at the moment, but can errupt again at any given point...

I am sorry for turning stuff into an religious argument. I just think the bible can be used as a history book and not just a religious book. Relevant to this topic Isrealites can trace back thier heritage to Abraham and so can muslims because sopposely Abraham wanted a son that was proposed by God but it did not come so him and his wife agreed him to have an affair with a servant. So any way that is sopposely why they are fighting because with the Koran and the Jewish bible are so alike they are fighting over the land that was promised to Abraham.

I would know the difference on a map with the countries outlined but not a map with just the countinents. Also the ideas of the countries are pretty similar and are mostly muslim exept for isreal plus mor than lebanon hates isreal.
