Ok,for me i would definately have to be digimon. Not only is pokemon so boring...they can only say thier names,it's not interesting, the same thing happens over and over,it does not keep you interested and there is hardly any cool fights...

In digimon however they can talk, the story is at least half decent,it keeps you interested, the basd guys do not nessacerily lose each and every time by the same single atack for almost every episode for alomst 5 seasons, the characters are better...etc..

anyway, what do you people think??? :^^:

i think anyone that see any of those horrible excuses for childrens attracting shows that are based on one single thing- draining money from the parents when the dumb kids buy products that have no use should be ashamed

both of those horrible shows have games though.
the games are difftrent, completely diffrent
but when it comes to the games i have to vote pokemon for they have a quite amazing array of skills and attributes, if you play it right and use your brain you can beat the game with pokemons of lower level than the opponents at all times.
if you are a noob, you can still beat it when your pokemons got 20 levels above the opponents, so there is a little something for everyone
pokemon also got good items array to attach to each pokemon to avoid status changes, to heal or to become more powerful as well as stat leveling items and some can choose evolution types and when to evolve

as opposed to pokemon digimon's pitiful skills all do the same- big woop damage, no stun, confusion, stat changers, nothing.
you hit the strongest skill = you win
truely, they all can evolve diffrently, but no matter what you choose, you get the same things- big woop attack skills, nothing else.
also checking digimon online, they have the worse card system ever, it smells so bad you feel like shiting your pants.

the concept of both game series is the same, you go kick trainer ass, beat up wild stuff and win, but the way is diffrent

also note, you cannot catch digimons, you get them... it sux so bad you can't even choose the big woop attacking skills...
as opposed to pokemon in which you can build a good team of 6 pokemons that make up for each other or choose to use only 1 , beat the game at the same speed as you would with 6, but with way higher level seeing as you only leveled 1 pokemon which function like an entire team

so bottom line:
shame on you for not mentioning the games
shame on you for daring to watch those horrible money sucking ... things..
pokemon's games are superior to digimon's by far (what i like best are the stadium games -reason is you never ever face a weaker opponent judging by level and thus you have to think before you attack most of the time)
holy shit my sig was big!

lol,i am reffering to what i remember of the shows when i was younger,i don't watch them now...almost everyone i know liked pokemon but got really sick of it...most of my friends just think digimon was better so i decided to post this topic 8)  :^^:

Roph

Not that I watch or play any pokemon/digimon stuff ~

I'd say pokemon; I always saw digimon as just a cheap rip off of pokemon. I saw part of a digimon episode once and though it was major crap. I used to watch pokemon a few years ago, but stopped after there were more than 150 pokemon, the shows started to suck, I gres up, and I'd finished my copy of Pokemon red for my GBC.

Quote from: InaruCan I say neither??

You have the rights. But if it's neither, don't post.
Arlen is hot.

Viper

Neither. I despise both cartoons due to the simple fact that they are aimed towards children, became a fad in a very short time and have run cold these past four to five years.

Games on the other hand, refer to Blue's post. My sentiments exactly.

BUT if I were to say anything positive...at least Digimon, the "monsters" or whatever you call them talk. Pokemon they just go...Pikachu or something like that. VERY LAME.

Soul

when i was VERY young i liked pokemon, but now its as anoying as blaze is.
digimon is just a craper version of pokemon and well they both suk

Okay, talk about Pokemon, Inaru.

Inaru

Uh..... There's a comic that's preety funny about POkemon, called PokemonX. That's all I really know. I liked the Red/Blue versions, but every version after that was dumb.

Well, actually, Digimon came out WAY before Pokemon did. Digimon started out as a magma before Pokemon did. The reason people think Digimon ripped off Pokemon was because the Pokemon anime was aried earier than Digmon anime in the USA. So actually, POKEMON Ripped off Digimon if you want to get techincal. But either way I still like both of them.

Yes, I still like Pokemon but I only like the games now. I never really liked the Card Games all that much and I used to like the Anime but not anymore because it lacks the luster it had before.
