The exe-file is version 1.01.
If the games were made with 1.02 the game wouldn't accept them.

Whether you have this or not is irrelevant considering your ability to play RMXP games.
You just have to install the RTP. You don't need to install RMXP to install the standard RTP.
Btw. nevermind that I talked about 'tag' files.
