Basically, I want my group to be attacked by a mobb of angry townspeople. If you'll ignore the fact the I'm a noob, I'd like some help.

We help everyone. =D so how much do you know? can you make a basic mob of people surrond the characters? or walk up to them?

the battle command is called "Battle processing"

ok, bit deatil? As in, Adding Enemies or Making them? ?_? if it's Making them, simply head to the database, Monsters, add/choos the monster picture by clicking the Blue Window, choose the Monster (Case the people) and add them by clicking on it two times, and customize it, click below were it says attack, and add skills and stuff.

If it's adding it to battle simply go to the next page of where monster data is...
There lies the group, make a new one, and here's a Small list on the right with all the monsters made, just click the bitton add and so on...limit are 8 Monsters =/

Right. I have the mob of people around them.

I know how to engage a battle.

But, theres definitly no troops that look like angry townspeople. I either need someone to help me find some, or teach me how to make some.

Oh, you need to import resources. When you find what you want import it into resource management > battlers. Then from the database go to monster. Then create a new monster with your battler. Finally put it into monster group and your ready to go!
