Please bear in mind that the pink is supposed to be transparent

[EDIT]
I edited the battle cursor so it's not a simple black triangle... hope you like

[EDIT 2]

New Windowskin!! Go me!!

Note: The window above the text window (The one that says Rune) is a different windowskin... I didn't make that one...

Your conscience.

Snailer

It's pretty good and basic and that can be very good.
Nice work for a first WS

fadark

just so everyone knows, im 15 years old.

Rune

Sincerely,
Your conscience.

JAP

Nice, but I honestly don't like the color of the upper frame.

fadark

me niether, so what i did is: when i imported the image to my game in the resource manager, i made the transparent color the one that i didnt like

[UPDATE]
I made a quick edit to the battle cursor... I edited my first post

Kaladun

It's simple, yet it works well (especially with the guy in the screenshot). Very good, particularly for a first edit.

Kokowam

Ohhh.... This is really good and I like the battler, too. XD

Rune

The battler belongs to Blizzard... i'm just using it in my game =P... i'll give credit of course
Sincerely,
Your conscience.

Edwin VanCleef

Seriously? I used to have that battler in my project, Destino Temps, as a faceset, and I'm sure I got it off a japanese resource site, so I doubt Blizzard created it himself.

Anyway... There's too much contrast in the frame, try makin' it more equivalent. Also I dinnae like the red part, try to make some sort o' pattern or texture on it. The rest looks fine to me, system sets dinnae have to be all that detailed.

The new generation will go to the distance... Will the distance between us smallen?

Rune

I can't make blends or patterns well on paint... ;9
And I can't afford Photoshop...
Sincerely,
Your conscience.

Edwin VanCleef

Just try simple things, I agree with ye Paint is limited, but it has options. Take a color slightly darker then the red ye already have, then use the line tool to create some sort of pattern, even if it's only scanlines, at least it'll be less plain...

Rune

Hmm... I guess so... I might try that with my next Windowskin...
Sincerely,
Your conscience.

Rune

Sorry for double post...

New edit!

Thanks Edwin... I took your advice

New windowskin added

Your conscience.
