i agree with thebodge sort of, i used to use a drag and drop program so i wont say you suck but there is one thing that is driving my insane...  that voice is so annoying it is driving me insane and... AHHHHHG i hate it!!!!! but i have to say other than that good job.

also if you have troubles making a layout your self, as in by actuall html code then you should hire a programmer or some one to manage your site, thats how i did things till eventually i just learned to make my own so i am not calling you a noob or a theif, but i am giving you helpful hints on how to make your site better. but i have to say your forums are nice, but the skin looks a bit windows 98-ish so you should look for a stylish one thats uhh stylish . also if you need a programmer i would be glad to help if you want, i hire for free at the moment since i am on what i call a probationary stand(i think thats the term[correct me if im wrong]) meaning im basically being tested on my skill(2 weeks down 2 to go).

also if you wanna build your own site but you dont want it to look like you obviously used a program then you should just use dreamweaver, found at www.macromedia.com , though i generally use notepad now its helpful for those tedious layouts with tables so umm yeah you should try it out it has a 30 day trial(though i own the program).

also keep in mind that these are just helpful things to remember and its not the ONLY way you can do things its just the way i did them, plus i may be wrong because everyone is  entitle to their own preferences so i honestly say you should use whatever you feel comfortable using, so if your comfortable with that blue vode thing-a-ma-gigger then im sasy use it, but bluexx is right you shouldnt say you coded the whole thing.

one last thing, bluexx and therophster, you guys are being unusually mean, im not trying to assume but for all we know rikkuholic may be an unexpeirienced site builder and is new to the whol general concept so if you start saying things liek "oh you stoile this and that" or "you didint code it u used a drag and drop program you didnt make anyof it and ur a theif" then he would feel upset or insulted(though he takes it very maturely). so what im getting at is that you should say constuctive things to him not ONLY focus on what he did wrong and qulitatavely critisise his site and not give suggestions.

use a program to make my site (I'm not gonna bother learning HTML as I don't use it that much) but I make everything from scratch, and I especially don't steal anything, either images or layout. *cough*

If I'm being a hypocryte there, that would mean I didn't create my own layout and also stole the images for it. I don't see a point in learning HTML when I'm involved with it for about an hour a week.

Hate to interupt and i hate to dig myself a ditch even, but what silverline is doing would be considered creative critisism just as much as some of my posts i guess. Maybe you should take it the way silverline means it and not the way it sounds.

Good point, bodge. Everyone needs to remember that this is "Text World", and that words can be easily misunderstood on message boards. The way you hear it in your head may not be the way the poster intended his/her message. So please let's keep this in mind.

Or you could just use http://www.megaupload.com/ they let you upload 250mb of anything for free  :wink:  it's what alot of people do to get there games hosted.

But i am my own host, and i also got no wait time. Only the time it takes for the game to get "on-air". It means, i have to do everything manually. But else: NO WAITING TIME! INSTANT DOWNLOAD!

Online.no is great. Anyway: I upgraded the whole site PERMANENTLY (i hope). Forum is on the main page, and as i usually say: FIREFOX SUX! Firefox users will not be able to see ANY effects on the page. So, if you cannot see the forum on the main page, Firefox doesn't show it. Try it out, compare Ie with FF and see what happens.

Maybe you should learn how to do your code properly and you might not have that problem i suggest you use this site to brush up on your html skills, then you could make it friendly in both browsers...

true, or just use "tables", until all browsers work the same im staying the hell away from css as much as i can in the form of building sites, rolllovers ill "risk" , tis a good idea to learn tho i would look into it if i were you.

And, i am going to contact the Firefox productions, and tell them about that failure, and hopefully they'll know how to fix it.

Listen, it's not my fault, that HTML doesn't function with Firefox, and for spyware, i run adaware each freakin day, but i never get. Last time i got spyware was like, a year ago, and that's WITH IE, and Firefox gives kinda, too many spywares, because it's so infected when you download, and it takes forever to get rid of em, and i'll see what i can do with dreamwevaer.
