A lot of people here have an interest in writing music, so I figured its about time for us to put our money where our mouths are, and get cracking! This is the RMRK composition contest, where people can go head to head with each other each month to reach a differently themed goal. Each month, a new guideline will be given that must be accomplished in that piece. The rules for the overall competition are below, and will remain the same throughout.
*The deadline for submissions is the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH. Check your calendars to be sure what the date is.
*Songs must be between 1 and 2 minutes in length to qualify.
*Voting will be done by anyone who wants, but you cannot vote for your own submission. No names will be given in for the nominees, only song titles.
*If you write in General Midi, you can PM the finished file to either Silverline or Holkeye to have it rendered into an mp3.
*Submissions are to be posted in the "Contest Submissions" Thread.
(March's contest is a relatively simple one, since there is only a week left in the month.)
