Also, the world map, it just doesnt look right. Where are the beaches? Why are you using the default RTP water tiles for it?

I can add beeches, but they don't sit nice with the sea... The Water tile sets blending into the land was a request in my addon pack that I am making...

You see this game will come packaged in the next addon pack, so people can see how I used the stuff in there, it will also be pretty good fun... And act as a sort of tutorial with many moving events, variable events, sub stories and what not...

Yes there is a Desert area... and a snowy one... I know what Halestorm5 means... My world map looks very poorly done compared to the maps made by the Guy who made the tile set...

But there is a good reason for my mapping... You will see when you play the game... I mean in world map when you venture outside a town your sprite shrinks like FF7... and you walk around, if I made nice beeches you could potentially walk on the sea... My world Map is done to compensate this... I use one map instead of 3... (One for the boat, one for the world walking and one for flying)... I use one Map as I have pathed it and laid my tiles with simplicity in mind... This game will be shipped with the addon pack i am making, the more tile sets I add the bigger the download... I am working to keep this addon pack under 25meg...

Don't worry when you playing you really don't notice the lack of beeches...LOL

I have not added all the events and that, it will have people and stuff in it...

It's a Town called Goldings... I was showing the above screen shot to show how small, but cute you can make the houses look...

I have sort of played with all the different layouts, that can be done with my custom tile set... the combo's you can make are huge !!!

I am well happy with my tile set... I know I am not the best mapper, Can't wait to see what some one like Nouman can do with it !!

Only the first Island is playable, but that's still a fair amount of game time... Gives a good idea of what's to come...

You can travel to other area's I recomend Blackthorn and watching a Hanging or Headchopping... Just don't go in any buildings off of the starting Island, you will get teleported some place random...

I need to make all the interiors and make the story, I also have to build the Islands Arbours and Kingsheath... So be a little patient.

You really should try to hunt down a mapper, or get someone to teach you, you understand the basics well clearly, but I would suggest working more on it.

are you holding a camera to the screen?  Use FRAPS or CamStudio.  You won't get the screen-blurring or the flare on the screen.

I think you need to play the game... The mapping isn't that poor... It's a fairly good looking game.

I will go over each area towards the end and add more to the maps, and shape the Square clumps of grass... I am always updating my graphics and resource content as I go along...
