Castlevania: A Sonata Under The Moonlight
Richter Belmont must once again pick up his whip and face Dracula...
Plot:
4 Years after Akumajo Dracula X Chi no Rondo...
Richter has spent 4 years living in peace, opening up a small inn in Wallachia, taking care of Maria Renard. He arrived at the Inn, exactly 4 years after the death of Dracula, to find that Maria was gone and Alucard was in the Inn, telling him it was time to defeat Dracula once more before he re-captures 4 more women from Wallachia, this time trying to double time his plan. Richter is handed the Vampire Killer and set on his way, hoping to recapture Maria and now his wife, Annette....
The plot of Sonata Under The Moonlight is not finished, because I am working on more plot further in the castle, that would be a spolier if I told you.
So you may be asking: Where does this fall in the timeline?
It goes inbetween Akumajo Dracula X and Symphony Of The Night. This is telling HOW Richter became under the control of Shaft, and how it might POSSIBLE work. Note: This is MY point of view on how he could have possible gotten that way, sort of like an alternate way. Something like that.
Music:
Opening Theme: Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata (1st Movement)
Battle Theme: Castlevania - Gothic Techno Remix (Trust me, it is a whole lot better than other remixs)
Main Travelling Theme: Castlevania - Orchestra Themed
Boss Theme: Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata (All Of It)
Screenshots:
Completion As Of Now:
Characters: 100%
Maps: 7%
Plot 45%
Overall: 15% (The maps brought it down ALOT)
Gameplay:
It works pretty much like a RPG made with RPG Maker 2003. I didn't want to have it to where you pushed something like enter and it attacked on the map. It does go into battles. But I do have a system with candles that pops up your MP by 10 every candle you happen upon. I still have to work on the Item Crash effects, but it wont take long.
So, what do you think?
EDIT: For those of you who read the plot, you might notice a paradox through Symphony Of The Night. Don't worry about it, I know what I am doing.
